Cleburne Emergency Management administers a program designed to reduce the vulnerability of the citizens of Cleburne should a natural or man-made disaster occur.

This department continues to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the public by coordinating mitigation preparedness, response, and recovery activities with Federal, State and County governmental agencies, industry, and business entities.

The City of Cleburne has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications.

This system allows us to telephone all or targeted areas of the City in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child or evacuation notices).

The city has 12 sirens that are tested on the 1st  Wednesday of each month @ 1:00 p.m.
